I have used the Overlay PDF feature and it is either missing something or I'm doing something wrong. What I want is to overlay two PDF plan files to see what changed between them. Many times the engineers do not line the two plans up perfectly, so when I overlay them, they don't match up. Is there a way I can specify two or three points on each plan where those points will line up with each other, and by doing so, so will my plan?
On another note, I would like to color the first one a specific color, like red for the old plan, and green for the new plan, and if anything matches up perfectly (i.e. nothing changed), then it would display the matching lines/features in black? This is a feature from a competitor, but I ONLY use their software to do this and was hoping that PDF Tools would be able to do this so I could cancel my other (costly) subscription [to only use one feature].
Here is an example of what I'm trying to do. Notice the black lines means nothing has changed. The RED lines are the OLD plans and the GREEN are the revised plans. This was originally from two separate PDFs where I was able to overlay the new on top of the old AND line them up so they matched where I need them to match.

Re: Overlay PDF - Aligning PDFs Together (and using different colors for each PDF)
Hi, wohlhut
I believe this is the same as this request: viewtopic.php?p=178681#p178681
We have a ticket for that in the system already. RT#6871: Feature Request :: Editor :: Overlay pages in colour
