=== UPDATE ===================================================================
The issue reported below has been resolved in Ver 10.5.0 build 393.
I appreciate all the hard work and efforts of the support and development team.
==============================================================================

Hello all,

I found that when a grayish color is set for the text in a text comment, there is a slight difference between the set value and the actual color displayed on the screen. When such text comments are flattened, they are fixed with a color that deviates from the value set in the comment. For example, the RGB values for the gray surrounded by a red square in the color palette below are as follows.

  • standard.png
  • Dark Grey RGB: 40, 40, 40
  • Grey 50% RGB: 128, 128, 128
  • Light Grey RGB: 192, 192, 192
When these RGB colors are set for text, the actual color of the text on the screen will be as shown below, with a slight difference between the set value and the actual color displayed on the screen.

  • Dark Grey RGB: 35, 35, 35
  • Grey 50% RGB: 129, 129, 129
  • Light Grey RGB: 193, 193, 194
These are the only three colors in the 40-color palette that are applicable to this issue, but as long as the color is in the gray range, the issue is usually applicable even if the color is changed manually.

In the video, the text comment text color is set to Dark Grey in the upper right corner of the color palette to show the difference between the set value (RGB: 40, 40, 40) and the actual on-screen value (RGB: 35, 35, 35).

  • figure1.png

Then flatten the comment to show that the color of the text on the property matches the actual on-screen value (RGB: 35, 35, 35).

  • figure2.png
It would be easier to verify this using a tool that can display colors on the screen in real time (color picker), such as the one I use in the video.

Hoping that the above information will be of some help to you.
Thank you so much for your continued support.

Best regards,
rakunavi

Hello, rakunavi

Thank you for the report, A small part of me initially wondered if this is perhaps a color profile issue, but then the same should be present with the base content objects, and it is not. I have passed the issue along to the Dev team for investigation, hopefully we can get to the bottom of this.

Kind regards,
