Drag and drop action between tabs - Mouseover on bookmark / thumbnails icon to open corresponding pannel

It's a feature request.

Feature description
Mouseover on bookmark / thumbnails icon should open corresponding panel when performing a drag and drop action between tabs.

Issue
The following action should open thumbnails panel

Additional info
An alternative solution is already possible using the mini tabs on bottom but a mouseover action on icons will be intuitive.
Moreover, as you can see in above GIF (Issue), there are cases where the mini tabs aren't yet displayed.

The same logic goes for bookmarks.
