Tab repositioning requests [Suggestion]

➀ I suggest that dragging a tab past (to the left of) the hamburger icon to expand the tab list would place it in first place
currently when you drag and hold a tab in first place the tab bar does not move to the left if the first few tabs are not visible (vice versa — to the right)
➁ I also suggest being able to reposition tabs in the tab list. Currently you're only able to choose another tab, not reposition them

Hello, MedBooster
I am not sure I understand the first suggestion here. Dragging to the far left does place the document in the first position:

I do see that the "bar animation" does not update, however, the "arrow" placement indicator makes it clear where it will appear. I will mention this small visual discrepancy to the Dev team.
Regarding the tab list, This is intentionally static, as we have discussed in a few other topics recently. The list is sorted alphabetically, and I am sorry, but we simply cannot offer an option for everything.
Kind regards,

that is when you see all the first tabs, I am referring to situations where it gets cut off and you have 20+ tabs open. (Cutoff in the sense that you can't scroll)
➀
Maybe you could allow for scrolling with the wheel while you drag and drop tabs?
I think it would be useful especially for low-resolution displays
➁
Hooowever, now that I come to think about it, maybe it would be more useful to have a "move to 1st place" shortcut? We do have close all to right and close all documents to the left , but no move document all the way to the right, or all the way to the left ("start"/"end" of the tab bar)

Hello, MedBooster
Ahh, yes I see. It is strange that we allow mousewheel scrolling without a file selected, but not with... I have passed that along to the Dev team, along with a suggestion to add some transparency to the title bar of the dragged item, so you can actually see where you are dropping the document.
Regarding the second request, I have passed that along as well, It could be helpful, but I am not sure about the value of further cluttering this menu. It may require some sub-categorization menus if we add this.
Kind regards,

I agree about cluttering the menu so maybe its better to place it at the 1st position if you drag it to the very left if there are more tabs you dont see? Without having to scroll to the end?

Hello, MedBooster
Possibly, we will have to see what the dev team thinks.
Kind regards,
