Hi'.
As far as I understand it is not possible to override the value in the distance tool to insert your own value.
I there a good workaround to insert your own dimensions manually?
Scaling the document is not the solution I need.

Yes - in the past it was possible, but that was causing some issues and had to be disabled, so I am afraid that no - you can not change the distance value, but you can make yourself a similar looking "line" annotation with leader lines and a caption shown on top of it that can be any text: Kind regards,
