Unable to load ActiveXControl

Post by lidds »

I have been a customer of PDF-XChange for a number of years. And in the past I have had no issues with upgrading version of your SDK. However, I have upgraded to 10.5.2.395 and for some reason I am unable to add the ActiveX control to my project.

My project is x86 and running .Net 8. When I try to load the form designer, I get the error "Could not find type AxPDFEdit.AxPXV_Control." However, the project runs fine in VS.

I get the following attached error when trying to add your activeX control. Also as a side not the only COM Component that I can add to the VS toolbar is your x64 dll version.

Any help would be really appreciated Unable to add PDFXChange.png[/attachment].

This was resolved I think by upgrading my project from x86 to x64.

Time will tell as I have a few more issues now.

Thanks
