OCR - special, math, formulas characters

Hello,

We've scanned a huge document containing math formulas and special characters. I need to OCR it but i'm having some troubles with it.
i've read this interesting topic : viewtopic.php?p=165885&hilit=math+formulas#p165885

Using numbers / english OCR seems fine except for formulas.
So i tried to use the zoned OCR only on the "math formulas" OCR but it doesn't work at all compared to doing it on the full page.

Any help ? Thanks a lot
