automatically insert pages from multiple open documents

I am familiar with using the insert pages feature, to insert the some or all of the pages from an already opened document, into a certain position in my active document. Is there any way, either in PDF-XChange View or in PDF-XChange Editor, to insert the pages from multiple already opened documents into my active document? I mean inserting them all at once, without having to manually insert each one separately?

For example, if I had a document opened, and I had 49 other documents opened, I would like to be able to insert all the pages for all of these open documents, after the last page of my active document, and I would like to have it insert them in the order in which I opened them. Basically, what I need it to do is merge all of the documents into one document, in the order in which the documents were opened.

I hope this makes sense. Any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,
Kevin

Hi, kskinner

you may want to look into "Combine files into a single PDF":

It allows you to select multiple files, specific pages in each file, and arrange their order:

That might be closer to what you are doing. I am keen to hear if that works for you.

Thank you for the quick reply. I am not very familiar with the software, so I appreciate the suggestion. After adding the files, getting them in the right order and re-arrarnging where needed takes some double-checking, but I think this will work well for me. Certainly much easier then appending them one by one. Thanks again!
