Importing pdf files
Converted a word document into a pdf file which is imported over to our companys website. When the hyperlink is accesssed the attached pdf file should appear. Nothing appears except a small red x in the upper left corner of the screen. Could the Adobe Acrobat Reader program be accessing the wrong version? For instance the company website is somehow looking for the executable file on a different drive rather than the local drive?

You can access our company website to visually see what is occuring. The website is http://www.co.contra-costa.ca.us/depart ... _views.htm
You can select any link under "Newspaper Articles".

With the exception of the first file link:
"Funding saves kids' programs"
all links worked correctly and the files displayed - perhaps it is a local or Acrobat Reader issue ?
Can I suggest you ask several different users from several different IP addresses to view and see if there is some issue there - I dont believe it is related to the actual files themselves.

As an added note the one that does not show for me on one PC
'Funding kids....'
actually lists as an HTML file and shows ok on one machine - but not another - you may want to check the link :
