Initial View "Two pages with cover page" not working

Hi Tracker Support,

This time I have a question:
(related to the following topic: https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 35&t=26839)

Via PDF-XChange Editor, it seems like you can set the initial view of a PDF to "Two pages with cover page"
(via the File-menu > Document Properties > Initial View > Page Layout)

However, when I save the PDF and re-open, this feature does not seem to work.

Am I missing something?

Hi Willy,

Thanks for the post - These options will be overridden by your settings under Edit --> Preferences --> Page Display, so please make sure that you have the following options disabled and the layout options set to Automatic:

The initial display settings of PDF-XChange Editor indeed override the initial view settings of the PDF itself.
I should have known that. Never too old to learn ...

So, the feature in subject is working 100% correctly, but can be overruled by the settings of the PDF reader.
