Signature is displayed as invalid

Hi,

When I open a document in PDF-XChange Viewer (build 317.1) with an electronic signature and check the signature, I see a message

Here is a screenshot:



And here is an example document whose signature is displayed as invalid:
removed since the question is no longer important

What could be the cause? Adobe Acrobat Reader CD displays the signature as valid and the file as unchanged....

Thanks for the post and sample - The Viewer has been replaced by the Editor, so please download and try that:

The signature requires validation, but automatic validation can be turned on under Edit --> Preferences --> Signatures --> Verification.
