I need assistance with being able to set focus to the Tab that was just opened so users can then use the keyboard arrows to browse the document. The default behavior is not this. Although the tab appears to be selected it really does not have the focus. We are using build .318
Any code to help me select the tab after a document has been opened would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Setting focus to opened PDF document
Hello docu-track99,
This seems to be working correctly on my machine. How are the documents opened? What operating system are you running? You say you are running 318, but are you running 318.0 or 318.1?
Thanks!

Re: Setting focus to opened PDF document
Hi Patrick,
Using 318.0. I have proved it to not work as expected in the SDK and also with the PDFXChange Editor 318.0. My PC is a Windows 10 + Anniversary laptop.
Look forward to your response.

Re: Setting focus to opened PDF document
Hello docu-track99,
Please try using build 318.1. I suspect you will find this to function correctly. You can download the latest here: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/PDFXVE6.zip
I hope this helps!

Patrick,
We have locked down our development and have chosen to stick with build 318.0 until next year. Is there a code solution that we can use?
Please provide sample code.
Thanks.

Hello docu-track99,
Please test the latest end user build and let me know if it works correctly for you. I have asked the dev team for their input here, however, I am afraid that 318.0 is not a good build to locked to. We released 318.1 less than 2 weeks later as there are numerous issues wth the initial release of 318.
Cheers!

Re: Setting focus to opened PDF document
Patrick,
Thank you for that information. I will investigate with 318.1 but please keep asking the developers for a coding solution at the same time.
I am going to be very honest. Since moving to v6 we have encountered many problems starting with build 316 and each build that came out after that fixed a few things and also broke a few things. This is my reason for hesitating to go to 318.1
Thanks,

Re: Setting focus to opened PDF document
The behaviour is the same in build 318.1
Open the editor, open a pdf from the menu and try to arrow down and the document does not scroll. When the editor loses focus (IE: as I type this response) and return to the open editor then the focus is on the PDF document and it does scroll.
318.1 does not solve this problem for me. I need a code solution.
Thanks.

Re: Setting focus to opened PDF document
Hi docu-track99
Thank you for that further description. I am able to reproduce this issue. If you wish to get a code solution for this in your SDK, please post to the SDK forum. The best I can do is create a development ticket in the End user forums. Please reference RT#3695 Editor Does not focus on Document when opened via File> Open when requesting an update to this issue.
Cheers!
