Saved Highlights in PDF are Now Missing

I highlighted a chapter in a PDF using the highlighter tool. I saved the highlights on exiting the document, and have
reopened the doc more than once since then - confirming that the highlights were definitely saved with the document.

Today I opened this PDF up again and all of my highlights are gone. I looked for a 'View Highlights' switch or other
setting and so far I cannot find one.

Is there a setting that is hiding my annotations - or is this a bug? Thanks

Thank you for the post and welcome to our forums. Could you please post this document so that we might see what is happening here? There are ways to show and hide comments via Document> Show Comments.

The PDF is a commercial tutorial - I hesitate to post it on a public forum.
Can I send you a Dropbox link in a private message?

In PDF Xchange Viewer Free there is no 'Document> Show Comments'. Instead
I have 'Comments > Show Comments > Show All Comments' - which I have
checked with no result.

I uninstalled the Viewer and installed the Editor from the installer you
provided. The issue persists.

Thank you for sending me the document. I am not seeing any highlights on here. In fact, it seems there are no comments at all.



Is it possible that you may have used Save as and saved another copy of this file to another location, and the file you sent and are looking at may be the original? Or perhaps you made a copy of the file before editing it? I am afraid there is little we can do unless you can reproduce this issue again.

If you are able to reproduce the issue, please document the steps with as much detail as possible and let us know.

Yes I'm positive the copy I sent you is the copy I highlighted - I keep a very clear
directory structure for all of my tutorial docs. There is no other copy on my drive.

I'll be doing some more highlighting in this PDF so if the issue arises again I'll
post in this thread. Thanks again for the prompt response and turnaround,

If it happens again, please do keep us posted and, if at all possible, provide a step-by-step breakdown of what you were doing before the highlights disappeared as it may be crucial to reproducing the problem.
