Feature Request: Browse .pdf files in directory

Hello,

it would be great if we can browse the .pdf files in the current work directory like all these image viewers do with pictures.
In the office we do work a lot with .pdf files. Opening them separately just for checking a date or an invoice value makes you pretty busy.

It would save us a lot of time if we can quick navigate through all pdf files with... arrow keys + CTRL or anything like that.

Thanks for the post - This can already be done by enabling previews in Explorer, so long as you have our Shell Extensions installed and the Editor set to handle Explorer previews under Edit --> Preferences --> File Associations.

Hi Will,

thank you for your really quick response. I have checked your hint and got it to work. I guess that solution will do it for "readonly tasks".
But it would be even better if I can also edit the .pdf files that way. I am using stamps and other text box features of your xchange viewer for editing e-invoices.

So a feature for quick browsing the directory files inside the viewer (with full UI components) would be great.

That would be too complicated, and will definitely not work as fast as the stand alone application so it's unlikely to be implemented. Once you've found the files you want to edit - just double click them and they will open in the Viewer (or Editor) directly, and you can then do all the manipulations you want.
