Recently, everytime I use typewriter function, the letter 'Typewriter' is appeared near my mouse pointer.
I guess this function has been updated recently, but how can I turn off this?

Hello JihongJung,
Welcome to our forum.
Unfortunately, you cannot turn it off.
The meaning of this is to see what tool you are using at the moment,
what size will the letters be before you start to type and to see the exact location of the text.
Regards.

Hello,
We understand the meaning of showing the word.
But it would be usefull if the word disapeares once you have clicked on the right spot.
If we use typewriter at this moment, the letters overlay and are difficult to read.
Thank you!

Hello DIATH,
The function you are looking for is the Keep Selected toggle, This appears in the format tab, and once disabled should not reenable itself:

The reason the typewriter continues showing is that the tool is still functional, allowing you to quickly place another field.
An alternative is to simply place the field and ensure the mouse is over part of the field while typing, or moving the mouse away from the field after clicking.

Re: How to turn off the letter 'Typewriter'?
I was wondering if this was a bug or a feature. Apparently, you think of it as a feature. I often use the Typewriter Tool while reviewing a PDF form with a patient, but the form is not set up as a PDF form. So I use the typewriter tool to fill in comments in white space on the form, or I use the line tool to make an X in a box. These features of PDF-XChange have been very useful in this way.
Seeing the word "Typewriter" as long as I am using the took is quite annoying. I have downgraded to version 7.324. I hope you will get other feedback and get rid of this, or have it as an option. Sometimes I go back and forth between the line took and typewriter tool, and to keep having the word "Typewriter" pop up every time I select the took would be a distraction.

Re: How to turn off the letter 'Typewriter'?
Hello James,
I am sorry for this inconvenience, I will ask around the office about the possibility of adding an option to hide the text. We recently made this change due to very high user demand for a clear indication of where exactly the typewriter text would be appearing. In the past we have had a line appear above the cross to indicate the height of the text, but most users wanted more.
As the tool is easily moved away from the editing area during and after placement, as well as being hidden upon placement if the mouse is not moved, I believe it is unlikely this request will be approved, though I will vocalise it for you.

Daniel,
Thanks for trying. I'll hope for approval.
I didn't realize the word was meant as a sample of where the text will be. In the past, I did sometimes have to make adjustments, but that was less bothersome.
