WIndows Explorer crashes on PDF preview

Hi--

I upgraded from PDF-XChange Viewer to PDF-XChange Editor Plus and now when I preview a PDF in Windows Explorer, the Explorer window freezes indefinitely. If I have the Explorer window set to show the Details Pane, there are no issues. But if it's set to Preview Pane and I click on a PDF file, then it crashes. I've used the Shell Extension tool to set the handler to PDF X-Change but no luck.

Thoughts on how to fix this?

Thanks for the response. FYI...it seemed to be an issue with PDF Exchange Viewer also being installed on my machine. I uninstalled it, rebooted, re-ran the shell extension utillity, and made PDF Exchange Editor the default viewer for PDFs and now i'm all set.
