Way to view image formats?

Post by dsellinger »

Is there a way to review the images inside a PDF to see items like the DPI and the compression format? Also anyway for PDF-tools to generate a report of the same info?

Hi dsellinger,

welcome to the Tracker forums!

If you select an image, you can choose the option "Recompress Image" frm the right click contect menu. It shows the DPI and compression format. It also allows you to change the compression.

There is no tool to make a report/summary of this for all images in either the Editor or PDF-Tools, you would need to check this on a per image basis I am afraid.

I hope that helps.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks, that at least lets me spot check my files to see if I have any potential issues
