Bulk Darken 100-Page Scanned Document

Post by brody-xr3 »

Hi,

I've got document that was scanned which has handwritten comments on it. It is about 100 pages long. Is there any way to apply the darken images edit to all the pages at once? Or, do I need to go through them one by one?

If not ALL at once, any other work-around? A few pages at a time?

Thanks,

B.

Hello B,

As I mentioned in this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=62&t=33767
The only way currently to bulk process the images in a scanned document is to extract all the images, process them in an external image editing tool (in bulk if your image processing tool allows), and then create a new PDF file out of the processed images.

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Ah! I was confused.

I saw from 33767 how to do one image / page at a time.

Is there a way to extract all 100 pages at once?

Thanks,

Brody

Hello Brody,

You can extract all images from a PDF file using our PDF Tools:
Tools_extract_images.png
However I am afraid we do not have such a feature in the Editor.
The Editor can convert a PDF file to images, but this will come with a change of the quality of the images, so I would not recommend it.

Stefan
