PDF Export/Import as XLIF,XML - PDF Translation

Hello all
The need to translate PDF files increases daily, for example translating device operating manuals or magazines, publications, books, and much more.
In order to facilitate the task of translating PDF files,
I suggest adding new features in the PDF XCHANGE editing program, which is exporting PDF to an XLIF file,
then, translating the file into a CAT program, and then importing the translated file back into a PDF editor.
So PDF XCHANGE can export the content of a PDF to a format suitable for translation using popular translation tools such as SDL Trados Studio, MemSource, and memoQ.
After translation, the text can be re-imported back into the PDF. PDF XCHANGE places the translated text exactly where the original text used to be.
This also requires the font replacement feature, specifying the text boxes to be extracted, as well as the page-flipping horizontally to suit the languages ​​that are written from right to left.
Summary:
Add an option to export/import an XLIF file
fonts substitution
Select translatable text boxes for some files with special formatting
Add the option to flip the page horizontally to suit the RTL languages

The attachments contain examples of an xlif file created by other PDF tools

Thank you for the request, I should start by stating that what you are suggesting would be highly complex, and if accepted by the Development team would likely not be something you will see in the next year or more.
So, with that disclaimer at the top, I will forward this request to our dev team, to be considered after V9 is released. I can make no guarantees of implementation, only promise that it will be considered.

Still no firm plans for that either.
However - please take a look at this:

It might not allow you to translate the whole PDF, but should help you with translating portions of it!
