tab sequence in forms

tab sequence in forms
Hi - I have been adding some editable fields in a pdf - text, date, checkboxes etc. How do you set the tab order correctly so that the user starts from the first field then upon tabbing, they go to the next field, then the next field in correct sequence thru to the bottom of the document? I have PDF Xchange Editor Plus. I did find an option "Options" at bottom left of screen, I selected "Fields" which gave me a list of my editable fields. There is now an "Options" dropdown at top left of this window which contains a menu item "Tab order" but it is disabled. Can you help?
