PDF-xchange window spanning across two monitors.

This is a behavior that I have ONLY seen with PDF-xchange editor, and NOT any other program. So I think it is related to the scaling of the software rather than some Windows settings.



The picture I took with my phone was too large to be uploaded, so I hope it is clear what I am talking about.

Here is the bar zoomed in on my second monitor:

What happens is that when in full screen I get this white strip (and it is not the scroll bar, it is just a static white bar. As you can see on the attached photos the scroll bar is still visible and perfectly functional on my primary monitor.

For reference, here are my Windows display settings:

Just to be clear on what is actually happening: When using PDFxce in full screen on monitor 1 (primary) the edge spills over a white static bar. Vice versa for monitor 2, with PDFxce full screen on monitor 2 it spills over to monitor 1, but too a much lesser degree because of the resolution being much smaller.

First - let me ask you to go to Help -> About inside the Editor and let us know which build you have installed?
If it is anything older than the current one (9.2.359) - then please download and install this latest one and let us know if that helped.

I'm using 359, but it works fine when I use my laptop and monitor together because they are both 4K. The issue is when using a secondary monitor that has a much lower resolution it seems.

BUT it's not a deal-breaker it's just a small white strip, not that big of a deal. I just wanted to let you know in case anyone else had any similar problems with using two monitors.

Then again. Not the case if you use two 4K or two HD monitors. Just if you mix them it seems

@David - are you still able to reproduce this issue with the current build?

We had a colleague in the dev team look at this topic, and he was unable to reproduce the issue even when he did set his second screen to a resolution matching MedBooster's second screen.

@MedBooster - Are you on Windows 10 or 11? Also can you please try to back up and reset your Editor settings and let us know if this changes anything?

I had not seen the issue on my end since the fix back in 2017. However, I only use screens with identical size and resolution.

I think we should just keep an eye on this myself. I m not sure there is anything for us to do right now.

Don't spend your time on energy on this! There are way more important things like elements not randomly turning transparent, a customizable styles palette you can reorder, page numbers on bookmarks, no auto-switch to format with stamps (which I have heard rumours about, that it has actually already been fixed for the newer update)
... what else,
Yes, resizable icons in the format tab / comment styles palette (just as you got with the stamps where you can make them larger and bigger)

Just to mention some
Things like these are much more important I feel, than a 1/2 cm white strip that is only there half of the time, a restart sometimes seems to fix the problem.
