Different results by Compress Tools vs. Xchange Editor

Hallo Folks,

Hello folks,

I found that I get different compression results with the PDF tools and the Xchange viewer, although both start values ​​are the same.

With the PDF tool, compression is suddenly no longer carried out at all, while the XChange viewer does compress.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

Yes - this is a known issue, and our devs are working on a fix.
In the mean time please take a look at the workaround they suggested here:
