Shared Teams/Sharepoint library access rights

Post by daniel.breutner »

Dear Tracker Team,

in our company we face following problem:

1. Sharepoint without connection to Teams --> Plugin works great, PDF files open without problems in desktop APP

2. Sharepoint connected to Teams --> Plugin works, but file doesn´t open. Problems with Access rights

Is there any known issue for this application?

kind regards

Daniel

Hello, daniel.breutner

Thank you for the report, Can I ask what version of our software you are running currently? The latest release is 9.4.363.0, if you are running an older version, there are some known issues, though I am not familiar enough with it to say whether or not this is one of them.

Dear Tracker Team,

we have investigated your described problem a couple of weeks ago and our IT Team has pushed latest version 9.4.363.0. Now the only sharepoint library based files are working. Shared Sharepoint / Teams libraries are still the problem.

kind regards

Daniel

Update:

Open file direct via action botton still not working

But if you use "open in browser" new tab with microsoft standard pdf viewer display following botton appears:
image(1).png
Click on it and file opens in PDF xchange.

Working but far away from comfortable.

kind regards

Daniel

Hello again,

Initial investigation has brought up a potential cause of this could be old sharepoint locations existing from previous builds of the software. Due to the changing mechanisms Sharepoint uses, it may on occasion be necessary to delete a sharepoint location, then restart our software, and re-create it.

If any of the sharepoint locations you have stored locally (In the Editor) were created before the current build, please do try this, and then restart the PC. Once the PC has restarted, please try using the problematic functions again and let us know if it helped.

Kind regards,
