Small Feature Request: Hot Key Zoom in Split Pages Preview Window

In the main working window pane of PDF-XCE, the user can zoom in and out using hot keys ([ctrl-+] and [ctrl--]) or with the mouse scroll wheel (if so equipped) with the control key held down.

In the Split Pages preview window, there are two buttons above the preview pane for Zoom In and Zoom Out and one can use the mouse scroll wheel as above. However, the above hot keys do not zoom the focus in this preview pane.

As a matter of feature consistency across all tools and user convenience, wouldn't it be appropriate to have those hot keys work in the Split Pages preview pane?

Where can you find this preview window that you are talking about?
I thought you talked about a shortcut for switching between which part of the split-screen interface is active.
Shortcut example: ctrl+←/→ for example for switching between the active file/"window"
