open session new tab group in new window not working

new tab-group in new window doesn't seem to work, it just opens the tabs in the active window instead

are you on the current build? 9.4.363.0. It is working as expected here:

nope it doesn't. Try opening a tab group into a NEW window (NOT THE OPEN ACTIVE ONE).

Edit:
the method you showed worked where you open file → open → sessions, but try doing it through the keyboard shortcut or adding a manage sessions button and you will see that you can not open a new window session by double clicking a session in the mini window .

edit: weirdly enough it seems to be working fine now.

False alarm I guess? Maybe I just needed to restart my PC a couple of times....
