We are delayed a little as some older serial numbers cannot register on our web site and we are endeavouring to make this an automated process - so we are having to 'massage' our online data to accept them.
Hopefully this will be available tomorrow or this weekend at worst.

We are still having some problems before we can send out the email with regards enabling older serials - but - if you have a serial number that begins PXP31 or PXC31 - you can already use the upgrade options here - provided you have registered and logged in:
I think there are a few problems in the Update Invitations. I logged in as instructed found I could only update to PDF-Xchange Lite 100 Users (which I don't have). I tried to add my PXP31 Serial number (for my single version PDF-Xchange Pro 3.0) which continually came back as an invalid serial number.

No Barry - they are working on it - its just a very complicated problem to do with security changes made 3 years ago - the consequences of which were unforeseen and for which we are now paying the price.
If they are not very careful it will screw up all our records and also render many 1000's of users installations useless - so the resoltuion has to be thought through very carefully - I promise you we are trying hard to resolve.

assuming you have registered your purchase already using your serial number (at our main web site - not here at the forum) then when logging in you should see an option which says 'Click Here' (once logged) in to see your upgrade options.
If you do not see this - please send me your serial number and your login name/password for the main web site and I will investigate ASAP.
I have received the e-mail invitation to upgrade my present PDF-XChange Pro V3 to V4 and intend to do so. Question: Must V3 be uninstalled prior to installing V4, or can V4 simply be installed over V3?
V4 is entitrely independent - so you could actually run both on your system until you are happy with V4 - just in case the odd minor 'quirk' is still evident.
It has been tested thoroughly - but you can never test as thoroughly as several million users in very different situations with different application software/Windows and means of working will stress test a product.

I can retrieve my serial nos. for both products I 'own' but clicking for the upgrade options just reveals a blank page, so that doesn't work.
