359 Merge pages result

I do Merge pages and expect the resultant page to be in the same position, selected, and current. Instead I get:

Yeah, it's a pain but that's the way it operates as of now even in the latest version (364). A sheet of merged pages is always added to the bottom of the stack.

This has been mentioned some time ago and the Dev Team is supposed to be looking at that.

Users should have some control over where the merged sheet appears in the file.

As for control of position, I'd be happy with none... provided the position was that of the first input page.

We do have a ticket in our system for an improvement in that respect:
6268: Option to insert newly merged page before the position of the first source page.
I do not have an ETA for when this would be ready - but we will work on it.
