Hi Daniel,
After some trial and error, I have found that if I follow the procedure below to switch to a special mode (hereinafter referred to as the "secret feature"), I can go to the next page with a single tap.
- In full screen mode, tap continuously with two or more fingers. After a certain amount of successive time, the right-click menu will no longer appear after a long tap.
- Exit from full screen mode. However, the navigation bar in the lower left corner of the screen is temporarily unavailable, so use the shortcut key F11 instead.
- Return to full screen mode
The operation indicated by Step 1 is similar to the operation to access an Easter egg by tapping "Android Version" repeatedly under "About Phone" in Setting in the Android OS. The difference is that the Android easter egg uses one finger, while this one uses two finger, but both are similar in that they both provide access to secret features. I call the secret feature only because I felt like in the verification, and it was probably not intended by the Tracker developers, so it seems to a workaround that became possible by chance for some reason. Given that not only the issue itself but also the workaround is common to two PCs in different environments, I think that the case is a issue that can occur widely in general.
The secret feature has the following characteristics. As you can see, operations are quite restricted, so the normal mode that Daniel is actually seeing, or that has been mentioned in previous posted topics, which allows single-tap operations without special procedures, is most likely different from the mode I am actually seeing.
- Zooming and scrolling by touch (pinch-in, pinch-out, swipe, etc.) are disabled because they are fixed to the zoom level at the time of switching to full-screen mode.
- Daniel noted that in the Two Page view, the normal mode(*) should require single taps twice to go to the next set of pages. With the secret feature activated, only a single tap go to the next set of pages. This is not a limitation, but good news for users.
- The right-click menu cannot be shown with a long tap.
Once the secret feature is activated, a single tap will go to the next page even if you open another file. However, the settings will not be saved, so if you exit the application, you will need to start over from the beginning. There was no change in the registry settings before and after activating the secret feature.
The verification procedure is as follows. As I mentioned in my first post, the normal mode for me seems to be different from the general normal mode described in
(*), so the procedure shown in
blue text is a confirmation of its characteristics. The procedure shown in
green text is a confirmation of its characteristics after the secret mode is activated. A verification video was created so that the operation at hand is captured in PinP along with the desktop screen. The same results are obtained on both PCs, but the video was taken on an HP All-In-One 22 c0xx. The corresponding timecode in the video is also included.
([MM:SS] "MM" shows minutes, and "SS" shows seconds.)

P.S.
In the video capture of the verification, it was easy to activate the secret feature, but very difficult to operate quickly to fit within the 5 MiB limit per an attachment file in this forum. This is a matter of principle that I want to tell the whole story in one video.
