Each toolbar can be minimized by pressing a very small button on the left or top edge with a symbol like a capital K of the alphabet. Alternatively, the toolbars can be hidden by unchecking them in the "Customize Toolbars" dialog box or in the popup menu that appears when right-clicking on each item.
I found that while horizontal toolbars can be toggled between visible and hidden states even after minimization, vertical toolbars are not reflected when set to hidden after minimization. A typical example of vertical toolbars is Quick Tools, but the same issue occurs with user-added custom toolbars.
If you do not minimize a vertical toolbar, you can hide it, and even if you can't hide a minimized vertical toolbar, you can remove it by clicking on the remaining minimized vertical toolbar, so there is no practical problem at all. It is just that the behavior of the horizontal and vertical toolbars is not consistent.
Please refer to the following verification procedure and see attached verification video for more details. The corresponding timecode in the video is also included.
([MM:SS] "MM" shows minutes, and "SS" shows seconds.)
- [00:00] Minimize the Page Navigation Toolbar.
- [00:05] In the Customize Toolbars Popup, turn the Page Navigation Toolbar check box On/Off to toggle its display/non-display.
- [00:12] Minimize the Quick Tools Toolbar.
- [00:15] Even if the Quick Tools Toolbar is unchecked in the Customize Toolbars Popup, it cannot be hidden.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
