PDF to Excel- leaves headers and footers

Post by petepuma01 »

When I convert a PDF to Excel, PDFX does a decent job of converting properly. I have my settings so that all PDF pages appear on a single worksheet. Unfortunately, headers and footers from each page are inserted where the page breaks would be. Is there any way to avoid this?

Hello petepuma01,

How about cropping the header and footer with the crop tool before converting?

Best regards,
rakunavi

Hello rakunavi,

Thanks for the suggestion.
That would work - or what came to my mind first was that the Redaction tool could be used to remove the headers/footers from the PDF file, which would retain the original page sizes (might need to do some other operations with that PDF file later and still want a copy without he headers), and still allow a conversion to Excel without unwanted information.

Kind regards,
Stefan
