Delete Multiple Selected Parent Bookmarks

...and promote the Children Bookmarks? Is that possible now and, if not, could it be considered?

This would be especially useful when combining files that create redundant Parent Bookmarks. Let's not get into human analogies.

to have an option to keep (and outdent / promote) the children bookmarks (so that they in a way replace the parent bookmarks) could be useful.

As of now I guess you just have to outdent and indent them manually (the children) , before deleting the parents.

As per usual, I cannot offer a timeline or guarantee of implementation, only that it will be seriously considered when next the dev team is looking at new features.

Absolutely, that information is specified in the details of the ticket. I try to avoid making ticket names too long unless the dev team explicitly ask me to use a certain name.
