Now, when searching in a folder with a large number of documents (tens of thousands, more than 100 GB), it is not clear how much longer to wait for the search to end - an hour, a day, or a week? Only the "Stop (...) Found: 0 documents, 0 entries State: searching, %time%" is displayed.
I suggest adding a progress bar to the text search for many files. For example, first count the number of PDF files in the specified location, and then show the percentage of those already viewed. Although, perhaps, it will be more accurate to count pages, not files. That is, if the text is to be found in ten one-page files and one 100-page file, viewing the first five documents should show the user that 5% has been completed (rather than 45%, as it would be if files were counted).

Re: [suggestions] Add progress bar to advanced multi-file search
Hi Jensen Head,
Thank you for your suggestions.
To me, this sounds like something that will add more load to the PDF Editor but only developers can confirm if this is achievable and if it will not act as a bottleneck for the application.
I will forward your suggestions to our developers for consideration and keep you updated on any progress.
Regards.

Upd. I found the
setting. This is what I need! With a large number of files, it reflects the current progress quite well. Thank you!Pre-Estimate Search in Folder. Count the number of files in the specified folders., to provide the correct search progress.
