I've already looked at other posts on here, which gave great advice, but didn't quite resolve my problem, so here goes:
For some reason, even after activating the option to not make a line break, it still won't work. I tried completely deleting, reinstalling, latest update, that didn't help, though. (Same issue on pc at work).
Am I missing something?
I tried the same file with adobe, and it worked just fine (as in the text was in one go without line breaks).
Windows 10 Home
PDF XChange Editor Version 9.5 Build 366.0
Added video to portray it better
If you have any clue on what could be causing this, it'd be truly remarkable, losing my mind over this lol

Re: copy paste a text from xchange into word without a line break?
Hello, Samurai Aku
Could I ask you to send us a copy of this file for testing on this end? Note that this option is only to disable the function of "Adding" additional line breaks where none exist, if say, word wrapping is what caused them to appear. If there are hard breaks/return characters present, it is expected that those are copied even when this option is disabled. Seeing the document will allow us to check both if that is the cause, and if anything else, unexpected is present in the text here that might confuse the system.
Kind regards,

Hey!
Deleted the irrelevant things since touchy stuff. If that doesn't work, I can still find an untouched document that does the same thing.
Thanks a lot

Re: copy paste a text from xchange into word without a line break?
Hello, Samurai Aku
Thank you for the file, it does appear that this file has intentional Line breaks in place, which would be why they are copied regardless of this option. The text here also seems to be split on each line from "Left aligned" to "right aligned" which causes the paste in word to be even more questionable. I am afraid that you will need to intentionally remove the line breaks if you wish to copy this as a single block of text.
