Extracting pages & naming the file

Hi all,

Is there a way to name the output extracted pages, as "Pages from X to Y"?
Or something like "Pages A-B-C-D-E...." listing all selected pages to be extracted?

Tried to find the information in Macro section but could not.

The "extra pages" tool on its own does not offer a macro to handle this, however, if you simply select and drag the pages out of the thumbnails pane, like so:

PDFXEdit_iN3qkHs8bB.gif

You will see the desired text format as output. Perhaps we will be able to add a macro to achieve this in the future, but for now, this method is the only way.
