Default A4 page size

Post by BrianT »

I have installed the free view and find it a great/fast view tool. The only issue I have is that when I print a document it always trys to print as a A4 document... I always have to change the paper size to Letter.
If I can solve this problem I would like to expand the use of Tracker Software to solve some other PDF issues I have with my clients.

Any pointers???
Thanks

If I change the paper size used by my printer driver to A3, then PDF-XChange offers to scale an A4 page and print it to A3. I think that you need to change the default paper size for your printer and set the page scaling to fit the printer margins.

Thanks.. I did think of that and my printer default is set to letter but everything still tries to convert to A4...

This worked for me: In the Print dialog box, under Page Scaling, I checked "Choose paper source by PDF-page size". Now it shows the page as 8.5 by 11.00 inches and "Paper: Letter".

lazydaze, I think you've just saved my bacon!

I convinced our non-profit office to use this software -- then it was discovered that people couldn't print to the U.S. default size EASILY.

Now I just have to go from computer to computer AGAIN (sigh) and change the setting for everyone. Then we'll be good to go!

Hurray!

THANKS!
