Just was going to say that this is an amazing piece of software! I'm feeling sorry for not having discovered Xchange Viewer earlier! This software can replace Adobe Acrobat in a lot of ways and for a lot of people. And obviously the coding is brilliantly efficient and sleek as well! Keep up the great work, and soon Xchange Viewer will be THE No. 1 replacement for Adobe PDF Bloatware Software…

Only a couple of minor suggestions from my side, and please bear with me if they already should have been discussed elsewhere.

To begin with, it seems as if it always takes some seconds of "loading" until files previewed in the browser are displayed -- even if it those files are local. Maybe this has something to do with Xchange Viewer not (yet) being able to use the Fast Web View file structure (where the file is already displayed before it is completely loaded)…?

The other suggestion would be to be able to place tool bars *next to* the menu (side-by side) as well, not only over or under the menu, to be able to save even more screen estate.

Lastly, it would be great if the highlighter would work on double-clicks on words and thereby would highlight the entire word, as well as snap to word boundaries as soon as multiple words are highlighted (similar as in Adobe Acrobat;)

Other than that -- truly amazing work.

So long,
David.P

Oh well, one more idea: what about handy keyboard shortcuts for tool selection.... like press "h" and get the hand tool, "v" for text selection, "u" for the current highlighter...? (I know, the letters are somewhat illogical -- it's just that many people coming from Adobe's Dinosaur will be trying to hit those keys... ;)

Sorry, I'm starting to fantasize: please at some stage do add the possibilty for cleartype/cooltype....

It makes text just so much more readable and sharp (at least on good displays). See below:
Left: Cooltype (subpixel) antialiasing vs. right: normal (grey) antialiasing

Hi,

I've been working with PDF-XChange Viewer now intensely for a day, and I must confess again that this program absolutely freaking ;) rocks!

(And I've been trying everything else, Nitro, Foxit, Expert, Jaws, CAD-KAS...)

The tabbed interface is something I just can't be without anymore already; and the speed is amazing -- especially the extended search that searches through like hundreds of SCAN-BASED pages a second! (as compared to *₪Ħŋ¥* Acrobat where the same takes like literally "minutes", needing Gigabytes of RAM and bringing my Computer to a breakdown!!!

You guys did an absolutely amazing job with this software.
