problem showing math formulas at certain zoom levels

Post by quant »

See page two of the document:

http://www.mathtutor.ac.uk/Differentiat ... ciples.pdf

At certain zoom levels, the fraction is not visible, changing the zoom level, some fraction reappears, other disappears ...

No problem in adobe or foxit ...

This is just an issue of rendering straight lines with a certain thickness. Adobe is usually much inferior to the Tracker Viewer regarding this (although with that very document it seems the other way round).

See for example this document that renders just horrible in Adobe Viewer or Acrobat (at least in v7), but much better in the Tracker Viewer.

Fixed in build 35.

However due to problems in Windows GDI+ printing of such formulas does have problems (lines are not fully drawn). So - Looks like we need to not use GDI+ for printing.
