Instantaneous Crash

Post by walterh »

received the attached from a colleague ..

PDF-XChange Viewer cannot open it -- crashes immediately (as it does with any complete doc using this header)

On the other hand, it opens without any problem in Acrobat Viewer, current or old version

Opens just fine here,

please ensure you have the latest release - (Help option - check for updates or visit : https://www.pdf-xchange.com/downloads/users/)

If you still have problems please use the 'Help -> Report a Problem' option as this provides more detailed info.

thanks

The same result here using the latest 034 release, an immediate crash.

If I open from Windows Explorer, I get an MS Error report dialogue. Error report sent.

Opens OK in Foxit Reader and Adobe Reader.

Uninstalled and reverted to build 033. Document opens OK.
Checked for updates, and updated to build 034. Document causes a crash.

Fle that causes a crash Reported Here still crashes after latest update.

Hi,

The reason it would appear I can open this and you cannot, is that I am using a later (internal) build 34 - a beta of Build 35, so looks like this is already fixed.

Hopefully today - if not - tomorrow for sure, we just need a final test run and to finish the Help files update - although we may release and update the latter over the weekend.
