I have a Word document with an URL (https://www.hema.nl/) in it. I Printed it to pdf.
If I open the pdf in Adobe Acrobat Reader > link works fine
If I open the pdf in PDF-Xchange > link changed from https://www.hema.nl/ to http://ps://www.hema.nl/ and is not working
If I don't use 'print to pdf' but chose Export or Save as, the link stays ok.
Can I do something about this?
hyperlink is different PDF-Xchange compared to Adobe

Does the hyperlink work correctly in Word itself (CTRL + click) ?
What PDF-printer are you using for printing to PDF ?
Could you post an example PDF with a bad working hyperlink ?
You can try to verify and edit the hyperlink in PDF-XChange Editor, via the "Add/Edit Links"-icon in the Home-ribbon. Then, right-mouse-click the concerning hyperlink and choosing "Properties". In the Properties-pane, click the three points at "Open a Web Link", followed by "Edit".

Re: hyperlink is different PDF-Xchange compared to Adobe
Thanks for the example PDF.
When verifying your PDF, it seems like the content is purely text and there is no 'real' hyperlink.
In Adobe Acrobat Reader and PDF-XChange Editor there are options to automatically recognize hyperlinks and by default these are ON. That is why you see a hyperlink when hoovering the mouse pointer over the text.
The text itself does not seem to be OK. In the Content-pane, it is shown like "hps://www.hema.nl/".
I do not know why it is showing correctly in the main page. When copy/paste the text, the "tt" part is wrong.
Maybe the people of Tracker Support and/or Development can tell us more about this phenomenon.
Last thing: I see that you are using v9.3 build 361 of the PDF-XChange Standard printer.
Is it possible to upgrade and try again (if your current license allows that) ?
Kind regards.

Hello Willy Van Nuffel, LOHA
This is caused by the tt in https: being a ligature: Please note how the cursor jumps both t's at the same time.
It seems like not only us but Adobe are also having issues with this one (they show http: instead of https: in their popup...
I will ask a colleague who works on fonts to take a look at this file and see if we can support ligatures better when recognizing links.
Kind regards,
Stefan
