Insufficient memory

Post by neonhusky »

I have been having problems with both Lite v3 and now Pro v4. Every time I try to print I get an error box that says "Insufficient memory". No error codes or other text, just this message. Reinstalling does not help, nor does restarting the computer.

I'm using WinXP on machines with at least 1GB of RAM. All other print drivers work fine. How do we fix this problem?

Thanks,
Jim

Hi,

Your resources would appear to be fine - do you also have ample free disk space as temporary files are also created on your hard disk during file creation that can become very large in some circumstances.

Increasing Virtual Memory could also be advantageous.

Can you confrim you have the very latest releases of both products -

Finally - when you re-install - are you fully uninstalling/restarting - before the new install ?

I can confirm that the above is not a known problem - at all- and we do have many millions of happy users with Version 3 specificaly and many users have also now upgraded to V4 - we have no other reports such as you indicate.

Please do come back if none of the above helps.

I have traced the problem to an application conflict with WordPerfect v12 but that's all I can find out. I have the latest version and have re-installed it but to no avail. Other applications seem to work fine. Do I need to contact Corel support or...?

Thanks,
Jim

Can you send us the WP document you are printing (zipped) so we can reproduce the problem ?

The file is attached. However this issue occurs on all documents printed from WordPerfect, regardless of size or complexity.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
