Hello, I'm using text boxes that are formatted according to a meaning (e.g. yellow background = not approved).
Is it possible to save them somewhere to have them available as templates?
I tried saving them in "stamps" (timbri), but when I use them the text cannot be modified, instead I need to modify it on each document.
Thank you

Hello Davide78,
Yes - you should be able to create your desired custom styles and then use them quickly!
This KB article explains the process in more detail:

Thanks, I succeeded!
I ask for further customizations:
- Is it possible to set a default width of the note to avoid it wrapping and having to stretch it every time?
I already know that these particular notes will be made up of 14 Arial characters size 20 with contour thickness 2, otherwise
- Is it possible to set that these notes do not wrap, and the outline of the note fits in width without needing to stretch it when I fill it in?
Greetings

Re: Template text box as stamp
Hello, Davide78
I just wanted to clarify on your original request, the new "custom stamp" tool does include a template function: I expect that this is what you were looking for, to retain a specific layout to create new similar stamps from a common "base"?
As for your new questions:
1. Regarding setting defaults, yes! After you configure the text box, or most other functions in your stamp, you can right click on them and choose the "make default" option: This will ensure that newly placed versions of that particular tool inside this window will use that same style.
2. As for Word wrapping, normal "text" will always wrap, so it is not possible to change that, if you are adding dynamic content, namely form fields however, you will see a "multi-line" option in the properties while that object is selected: Kind regards,

Hi, that sounds like what I want!
But I can't find the menus and windows you show me
Does it depend on the version installed or are they add-ons extra to the basic license?
Good day

Hello Davide78,
Please go to Help -> About inside the Editor, and let us know which build you are currently using.
What Dan showed you above does not rely on any special plug-ins, so it's likely that you have an older version at the moment.
Or you might be using the classic UI interface, and Dan's screeenshots are from the Ribbon UI.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Hello Davide78,
Thanks for confirming!
The tools Dan used were added in V10 - so you would need to update to the current version to get access to the same.
If the maintenance on your license has ended before 14 Jun 2023 - you will need to renew to be able to gain access to the current Editor. If you have any licensing questions - please contact us at sales@pdf-xchange.com as these forums are public and we can not discuss license keys here
Kind regards,
Stefan
