Search layers by name

Do you know if it is possible to search layers by name ?
If not, would it be possible to add this feature to the development roadmap?

Hello BB64,

I will pass your suggestion for consideration, and in the mean time you can sort your layers alphabetically:

So that you can then navigate to a layer with a name you know relatively easily.

Thanks for your reply and the tips!
We often work with pdfs that contain hundreds of layers so a search tool would be really great (as it exist in Autocad for instance)...

Good news! Just got a confirmation from our devs that this looks like a feature we can implement - so I've made the FR ticket for it:
#6644: FR: Ability to search in layers
There is currently no time frame as to when this could be implemented, however it is now in the list and will be worked on when time allows!
