[BUG] Opera Plugin Breaks Opera's menus

Post by Bhikkhu Pesala »

After opening a PDF file in Opera, and closing that tab,¹ Opera's right-click context menus are broken. I get context menus, but the wrong ones. For example, If I first use the [Document popup menu] context menu, then I get that same context menu in other contexts. If I first use the [Pagebar Item Popup Menu] (on the tabs), then I get that context menu everywhere, e.g. when I right-click on the toolbars, or in my received email list.

Closing and reopening Opera seems to be the only way to fix this problem.

¹ This seems to be the trigger for the bug. I am using the latest Opera 9.26 on Windows XP Home.

This could ofcourse also be a bug in Opera.
I will take it up with Opera, see what they have to say.

Of course it couldn't, as this did not happen with build 034.

Well you didn't include that information.
It's weekend so I didn't do anything yet :)

Thank you for the quick response. At least 17 Opera users will be happy.

Thanks for the quick bugfix. All is now working fine as far as I can tell, including left/right arrow keys, and remember toolbar arrangement. :)
