I was probably able to discover this due to using a blue-light filter (f.lux, or the inbuilt Win10 night light), which I think might make the contrast difference more noticeable.
Could you please make the session save text actually match the color it is when you highlight text over a white background.
As of now it is darker ... as you can see in the screenshots ... which makes it more difficult to see what you are naming the session.
Bonus suggestion:
please allow 1 Enter press to be enough to save the session, as of now you have to first press Enter one time to highlight the OK button, and then a second time to actually press it.

Re: Session save text color shade + keyboard shortcut
Hi, MedBooster
the two are different because one is on the document and one is a dialogue window. The former is not influenced by the current Windows Theme, the latter is.
If I understand this correctly, you believe that the colour in the dialogue makes it difficult to read and that we should make it match exactly what is on the document with a white background. The current implementation is considered more than acceptable by the development team.
There is a threshold that is used for what is considered acceptable contrast. Your screen shot of the dialogue was used to check the contrast between the highlight and the black text. It "passes" the test with the highest possible score "AAA". The devs consider this more than good enough. You can see that here: https://www.siegemedia.com/contrast-rat ... -%23B1A0A2
I think that the filter you use makes this more noticeable. While most users will see the contrast we tested, we will look into improving that.
Regarding the "Bonus suggestion". I must be testing this wrongly. When I try and save a session I type the name of the session and hit enter and it is saved and the dialogue closed.
Am I testing something different you what you mean?
Are you on 10.1.3.383?
Kind regards,
Paul - Tracker Supp

Re: Session save text color shade + keyboard shortcut
Actually now when I press Enter it saves right away, so maybe that was fixed in 383.
What I tried to demonstrate with the screenshots (the highlighted text is just selected text in that given color), was that the color is the same just a shade darker, which makes it more difficult to read. Which doesn't really make sense, because the background of the save session field is also white.
I do however have another suggestion:
Shift+Tab does NOT highlight the search field when you open "manage sessions". This would be very helpful. I agree that the sessions themselves should be highlighted first, but it's strange that Shift+Tab basically leads nowhere at the moment.

I guess we will; have to wait and see what the guys do to make it easier to see/read. They did say they would look into it.

Enjoy...Hi Paul. There will be a Ctrl+F, our standard hotkey. In the next build.

I was told this:

It would still be nice if Shift+Tab worked as well. As it currently doesn't select anything
As opposed to the advanced search panel where Tab as well as Shift+Tab works as it should
Kind regards
