If I select a network printer and then change any options in printer options dialog, xchange viewer hangs for some seconds up to one minute... that's annoying.
Okay I could understand that it takes some time to select network printer.
But why does it hang if just changing settings in page scaling and page range ? Does this send any data to printer?
I only change settings, I don't print.

After changing options of the printer, viewer gets all options from this printer to apply them for preview, etc. And getting options from the printer sometimes can be a long process and depends from printer's driver. For example we have similar problem here with Epson C2600N on one comp (and there are no such problems on all others). And this problem exists with all applications, not only with the viewer.
