On a related note;
What is the limit? Can I for example access version 363? And can someone that just today purchased PDF-XCE not access version 383? Only the current 384 and future releases?

Hello MedBooster,
It was deliberate decision for us to make it easy for you to download the current version, and not so obvious on how you can get some older ones - as installing older versions is generally not recommended - as the newest one would include all the latest fixes.
So it is not likely that we will add more download options to the other places you mention in your original post here.
Kind regards,
Stefan

Re: Downgrading to previous versions of PDF x-change editor PDF-XCE
I was just going to downgrade to v10.7.6.404 of November because I'm having a serious problem with the current version.
But now I see that there don't seem to be any previous versions available for download anymore.
Is that right? If so, that's really inconvenient.

Hello, David.P
Not quite. To access previous builds, you need to be signed into your account, and that account needs to hold a currently valid (with active maintenance) license for the product which you are viewing the previous build list of. Build access remains available for about 3 months after expiry.
If you do not wish to renew the software, we advise that you keep a copy of the last installer your license could cover on hand, so you can reinstall at any time (the license itself remains perpetual, but due to known Security Vulnerabilities, we do not provide access to older releases for very long).
Do keep in mind that while a PRO license includes Editor Plus feature coverage, it does not grant access to the Editors previous builds download list. You need to look at the list for the PRO product directly - or whichever specific product it is your license name is (Editor, Tools, Standard, etc).
Previous builds are not available to free users, nor are they available to accounts with an expired maintenance plan - and the only builds available should be the ones which your current license maintenance is valid for.
By extension, and for the reasons above, we do not intend to increase the visibility of older builds on our website for the foreseeable future.
Do also keep in mind the following section of our Terms of use: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/terms-of-use

Re: Downgrading to previous versions of PDF x-change editor PDF-XCE
Thanks Dan! Phew, that was a little complicated for me to figure out.
It turns out I was indeed looking at the wrong product list. Now that I've finally found the correct "Previous Builds Archive" page for my login and license (PDF-XChange PRO), I'll leave the direct link here for future reference for me and others:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/version/pdf-xchange-pro
The link of course only works under the conditions you just mentioned, particularly having a license for the specific product and being logged in.
