Restore Last Session not remembered in v10.2.0.384?

I just downloaded PDF-XChange Editor v10.2.0.384 portable. I have 4 documents opened. When I close PDF-XChange Editor and open a random pdf the other 4 documents are gone. I have ‘Restore Last Session when application starts’ enabled, so I think this is a bug.

We have just heard back from the team, this is not a bug, but a new intended handling.
Restore last session will not trigger if the Editor is opened with new arguments, as detailed in this request: viewtopic.php?t=40610

Last session is still remembered, but you will need to open the Editor without any new file arguments to get the behaviour.

I truly can’t see the benefit of this ‘improvement’. As a proofreader I always have several manuals and manuscripts opened on specific pages. When PDF-XChange Editor is closed and I accidentely open a new pdf I lose all my settings. The only way to be safe is to make a backup of Settings.dat each time I exit PDF-XChange Editor. This is so clumsy!
