wondering if theres a way to index text annotations automatically, like maybe having all the text from text based markups automatically added to the documents metadata?
yes, this is interesting. I'm using a program to index pdf files, but my annotations are not indexed, and it certainly would be very useful if they could be indexed.
quant, what program are you using for indexing?
Ivan from Tracker, u think there will be one for Google Desktop too? and any idea on time frame? awsome news though thank you.
I can literally find needle in a haystack. When I just remember few words or a short phrase ... it gives results in a few seconds. And unlike lot of competitors, it has a morphology search, and also supports wildcards * and ? . The “found fragments view” is excellent, you can quickly go through the found terms in that document. Excellent indexes management, full unicode support, ... Best or the best, really. It has my full recommendation
In fact, I just tested Archivarius again, and it already indexes "Text Box tool", "Callout tool" and "Typewriter tool"!!! The only one which is not indexed at the moment is "Sticky note" tool ...
