Stroke color does not batch-change the color of the typewriter text – in fact, it seems to do absolutely nothing, just as with stamps.
You actually have to enter each typewriter box manually to change the color
Please check if the case is the same for text boxes.
Also, why not enable "font type" and "font size" as style properties you could change?
It's really useful to be able to change properties of multiple comment elements at the same through the "comments"-pane.

But I understand that for typewriter and textbox text it is called fill color, not stroke color.
For text boxes you're only able to change fill color and stroke color of the text box itself! It would have been nice to be able to change the text properties (color, size and font) – as well as underscore/italic/bold properties.
Still referring to selecting multiple comments in the comments pane and changing the properties, unless you can tell me about some other way to batch-change such properties in multiple comment elements simultaneously.

For strokes and others: Group typewriter items. Select the group and change it in one go.
To change the font, again after grouping the typewriter items, apply a "text style" you have copied.
Important: If your text style is not uniform, e.g. one word is in bold, another in italics, one sentence is a different colour, another sentence is a different size, the text contains different fonts, etc. the text style cannot be applied as is.
you add fill color, stroke color thickness/width to the properties pane regardless of what comment style is selected.... e.g. here when I have a rectangle chosen I have "fill color, stroke color, border style, border width, opacity, but many of those options disappear when I have comment types (in addition to rectangles) selected:

Yes, batch editing of text characteristics inside of selected comments is an ongoing item. We do have a ticket for it, as Stefan mentioned, and while it is not currently a high priority, I will ask the team to renew focus on this area. RT#4577: FR: Edit text format of multiple comments
As per usual, tickets are internal only, so you can ask any member of the support team for updates in the future.
