1) Stacked document tabs (ie. multiple rows). It would be nice if the maximum number of rows could be specified. If there were more rows than this, then it should be possible to scroll up/down the rows of tabs.
2) Ability to re-arrange the document tabs (Drag and Drop a tab to a new position)
3) Option to ignore bookmark zoom level. Currently, the zoom level is reset everytime you click on a bookmark. As I understand it, this is part of the PDF specification, but it would be nice if there was an option to ignore this "feature" so the zoom level will stay at its current level when clicking on bookmarks.
4) Make "Show Full Search Pane" toolbar button a toggle button.
5) Make it possible to Undo Delete Page
6) Ability to disable confirmation of page move.

1) This would be an ineffecient way of working. Try using the Tile Thumbnails page when working on large numbers of PDF files at once. Instead of a tiny text-only file name in a tab you see a decent sized thumbnail showing the currently viewed page at the current zoom.
2) See above. Why waste time reordering tabs when you can see sixteen files at one glance?
3) Those must be some special bookmarks. I don't find that the zoom level changes when I click on a bookmark. See if you can change this behaviour by altering the settings in Preferences, Page Display, Default Page Zoom
4) Yes. This would be neat.
5) I expect that this is already planned, or at least it should be.

I disagree. It may be inefficient for the way you work, but it is more efficient that a single row of tabs IMO, since more tabs can be shown on screen at once without the need to scroll left/right.Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:1) This would be an ineffecient way of working. PDF Thumbnails are a great feature, but as soon as you double-click on one, that tab gets the focus. If you picked the wrong PDF, you then have to switch back to thumbnail view, before selecting another thumbnail. It's far quicker to click on various tabs in some cases (ie. when you need to quickly switch between several different PDF's to find the right document).
Multi-row tabs have a worthwhile purpose IMO.
Because if you need to work with more than sixteen files at once, then multi-row tabs becomes preferable in some cases. Also, having to switch back/forth between thumbnail view/PDf doc can be a hindrance when navigating through several PDF's in quick succession.2) See above. I have previously e-mailed Tracker Software about this problem, and was told it is a "feature" of the PDF specification. I just want an option to disable this "feature".3) Those must be some special bookmarks. I don't find that the zoom level changes when I click on a bookmark. yes, I note that as well in some documents, when clicking on a bookmark always changes to some ridiculous zoom level ...Defenestration wrote:I have previously e-mailed Tracker Software about this problem, and was told it is a "feature" of the PDF specification. I support the suggestion of being able to override zoom level set in the bookmarks. Thank you.
